2002 $10 Silver Proof Coin. 150th Anniversary of the Adelaide Pound.
In 1852, the Adelaide Pound became Australia’s first gold coin. The design of this 2002 commemorative coin is based on the actual coin and is a re-strike of a coin held in the Mint’s National Collection. The total maximum mintage of this coin was 10,000.
This coin contains 60.50 grams of 99.9% fine silver. The inside portion of the coin is gold plated with 99.99% gold.
Presented in a felt lined display case with numbered certificate of authenticity.
